7 Weeks Old ~ 2 Tri-Color Puppies that are available

Here is a 7 week old Blenheim Male. He is again..sooo cuddly and sweet.

He does have an umbilical hernia. This does not cause him any health problems and will need to be corrected when he is neutered. If you have any questions about this, I would recommend calling and talking to your vet about it. He comes with limited AKC registration, meaning he is meant to be a pet and part of your family, not used for any sort of breeding.

He has had his first set of shots and is due back between 9-10 weeks of age.

I just wanted to post a quick update..pictures will follow tomorrow :)

6 Weeks Old

On 3/25 the puppies all had their first trip in the car...to the VET! What a wonderful place for the first outing uh? We go to New Frontier Animal Medical Center in Sierra Vista. The puppies all had their first parvo shot & strongid T (dewormer). They will be due back between 9-10 weeks for the next set of shots. They did great!

Here is a Blenheim Male aka "Camper". He is 5 1/2 weeks old. He has an Umbilical Hernia, which is VERY common in Cavaliers as they have short umbilical cords. It looks like an outie belly button :) I would recommend it to be fixed when he in neutered. He is perfectly healthy and playful. This does not affect him at all. $650

Hey Mom...

Bella, mother to the puppies, was just sunning herself the other day while her puppies were playing on the grass...she looks so beautiful for just having 6 puppies, 4 1/2 weeks ago..I had to snap her pic and share! We love our Bella!

4 Weeks Old....Sibling LOVE :)

These 4 weeks old puppies are on the go non-stop when they are awake....and to capture them all in a row, is VERY difficult! When I am hauling them outside or cleaning their pool...I place them in a laundry basket. Tonight, they were asleep when I picked them up...so I just layed them down in a row...and they stayed! Slowly the woke up and chewed on each other...BUT they still stayed. It was a pretty special moment. Notice I said moment, as that was as long as it lasted. Puppies are still puppies and well...enough said.

3 Week Old Puppies...learning to play, wag their tails and make some noise

2 weeks old!

Today our puppies are 2 weeks old and all eyes are open to see & explore the world. They also had their 1st baths...no more stinky puppies! They range in weight from 1lb 14 oz to 1lb 9 oz today...amazing there is no real runt, but I can predict that the Blenheim male will be the biggest, he has some big paws....when I say big think thumbnail :) All 6 puppies have an individual picture up today.

1 week old!

These sweet, sweet puppies are growing like crazy....they eat eat eat! You can tell their eyes are very close to opening. I simply cannot say in words how adorable and CUTE these puppies are, and I know even more cuteness is to come!

Bella gave birth to 6 BEAUTIFUL puppies on friday 2/11/11, this is her 2nd litter (1st was June 2009) and last. She is an AWESOME mommy! We have 4 Tri-color, 3 of which are girls and 1 boy and then 2 Blenheim, 1 of which is a boy and 1 is a girl. Our blenheim girl even has the legendary thumbprint on her head, SO special. Here is a small history about the thumbprint~
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a small British spaniel with a silky coat. Truly a dog of elegance and distinction, this breed is named after Charles I, for the favored blenheim spaniel of the monarch's children. By the royal decree of Charles II, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is the only dog allowed in the houses of Parliament. Mary Queen of Scots went to her beheading with a Cavalier hidden under her skirts. He died of grief a few days later.
The characteristic "blenheim" spot supposedly originated with the Duchess of Marlborough. Legend says that the Duchess, sick with worry for her husband, who was leading troops in France at the battle of Blenheim, rubbed a pregnant spaniel's head and imprinted it with the thumbprint mark.
Cavaliers are the ultimate lap dog and will absorb as much love as you can give.
